Next Gen Bridge Program

We have hundreds of students gathering across the street from the Y every day, and dozens of them walk to the YMCA after school. What an opportunity for us to engage with them and connect them to our community of students who are learning to live like Jesus!

What can we do to reach them?

We are committed to partnering with the Y to launch a pre-gathering initiative (a bridge program) to serve, love, and disciple the students that God places in our path. We’ll arrive early, feed the students, play games, and then seamlessly connect them to Amplify, our student ministry.

Serve

  • While the bridge program will primarily serve our middle and high school students, there are serving opportunities in both Student and Kids (birth through elementary-aged) Ministry!

    Roles such as:

    • Youth Leader

    • Youth Worship

    • Student Ministry Set Up and Tear Down

    • Production

    • Kid’s Min Teacher

    • Kid’s Min Assistant

    • Kid’s Min Welcome Desk

    • Midweek Bin Prep

    These roles are weekly, bi-weekly, or seasonal.

    For the safety of our kids and teens, these roles are background checked.

  • Student Minsitry is every Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Easton Family YMCA.

    Youth Leader, Musical Worship, Set Up and Tear Down, and Production roles are Wednesday roles, with additional seasonal serving opportunities during camp season (February and August).

    Kids Ministry is weekly on Sunday mornings at both campuses, Easton and Centreville.

    Kid’s Min Teacher, Kid’s Min Assistant, and Kid’s Min Welcome Desk are all Sunday roles.

    Midweek Bin Prep is weekly on Tuesdays.

  • Serve Team members are all offered extensive and continuous training! We meet regularly for training “huddles” throughout the year!
