Light Hours
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16
What is a “light hour”?
A Light Hour is any time you spend shining the light of Jesus in your community! As invested partners with the YMCA, we, as a church, are specifically tracking Light Hours served in partnership with them.
Our goal is to serve 2,000 Light Hours with the Y in 2026.
We know that God has planted Eastpoint Church right in the middle of our community and called us to reach as many people as possible by becoming an unavoidable presence through partnership with our local YMCAs.
