Local Outreach

We’re For the Shore

Here you’ll discover how we show up in our community to spread the fame of Jesus.

You’ll see the many ways Eastpoint is for the Shore — from our For the Shore Spotlight where we support and pray for local organizations, to our all-hands-on-deck annual initiatives in the community, to the local partners we financially support each month.

the YMCA

Light Hours Opportunities

A Light Hour is any time you spend shining the light of Jesus in your community! As invested partners with the YMCA, we, as a church, are specifically tracking Light Hours served in partnership with them.

Our goal is to serve 2,000 Light Hours with the YMCA in 2026.

We know that God has planted Eastpoint Church right in the middle of our community and called us to reach as many people as possible by becoming an unavoidable presence through partnership with our local YMCAs.

Ongoing and Annual Initiatives

  • Ongoing - Talbot Interfaith Shelter Meaks

If you can double a recipe, then you have what it takes to serve your neighbor. Eastpoint Church has partnered with the Talbot Interfaith Shelter to provide a meal for families on the 16th of every month.

Our goal is to expand our service to the shelter as they expand their services to the community!

  • Ongoing - Meal Train

Part of being in a church family is getting to care for one another. Whether it’s sickness, babies being born, or mourning a loss, sometimes the easiest way to say “We love you” is a meal.

  • Annual - Teacher Appreciation at Easton Middle

Being at the YMCA means recognizing that God has strategically placed us right across the street from Easton Middle School. We know that teaching is often a thankless calling. During Teacher Appreciation Month, our church comes together in a big way to bless the teachers and staff—simply to express our gratitude for the time, care, and commitment they invest in the children of our community.

  • Annual - Back to School Supply Drive

Our annual School Supply Drive with For All Seasons in June/July is a great opportunity to bless students in our community.  Every filled backpack is more than just supplies for students—it’s a message of hope, support, and love for the entire family. Whether it’s notebooks, crayons, or glue sticks, your gift helps kids walk into the new school year with confidence and dignity.

  • Annual - Christmas Outreach

Every November/December, Eastpoint’s Christmas Outreach is a simple yet powerful way to share the love of Jesus with families in need across the Shore.

Eastpoint gives generously—that’s just who we are. Together, we can make the holidays brighter for our neighbors.

  • Annual - Christmas Carnival Outreach

The Christmas Carnival is an all-free event annually in December with indoor and outdoor games, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, pickleball under the stars, and so much more. We use this opportunity to LOVE the people of Talbot County in a season where Christ is front and center on people's minds.

Our Local Partners

These partners serve on the front lines every day, bringing hope, meeting needs, and advancing the gospel in ways that extend far beyond our Sunday gatherings. And when we partner with them, your generosity becomes their fuel.
