Exploring
Someone who is “exploring” is a person who is curious about faith and seeking God. They are not followers of Jesus, but they are searching.

New
A brand new follower of Jesus! They may not have a lot of theological knowledge or maturity, but they have been “born again.”

Rooted
This is a disciple who is new, but has been taught the basics of the faith. They have been taught a solid foundation.

Contributing
A contributing disciple is someone who has learned that to follow Jesus is to participate in the mission. They are beginning to orient their lives around the mission through personal evangelism, serving, and giving.

Connected
A connected disciple is embedded in the family of faith. They are no longer living for Jesus on their own; they are cultivating intentional discipleship relationships!

Committed
This is a disciple who has identified with the mission of the local church. They have settled down and committed to a specific worshipping community where they will live out the “one anothers” of scripture. They are embracing accountability and following authority.

Disciple-making
A disciple-making disciple is one who is intentionally discipling others. They have grown in the faith and maturity to the point that they can turn around and help others on their journey as they have been helped.
